Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2® 390: ‘Make America Romantic Again’: ‘Romance for the Holidays’ by Rg2 (31) Vol. VI

23 Dec

“Make America Romantic Again”

‘Twas the Pamper-Her-Friday before Christmas
And somewhere in a tony house
A romantic couple was stirring
They only recently espoused

Unseasoned in the art of gifting
They would settle on a pact
Presents would be forfeited
Except one wish to be exact

Each other’s phone to be silenced
No talk of family strife past
World affairs left out in the snow
Absolutely no aspersions cast

On anyone or anything
Only one another was their care
Generously gentle was his spirit
Nibbling her ear and massaging her hair

Nearer to him he gathered her
From his embrace was no escape
The most willing prisoner was she
Her perspective he would shape

If this is what Christmas feels like
“Could it please, please stay awhile?”
Further she sinks into his arms
As Nat croons carols on the dial

Christmas is but a feeling
The goings-on within the heart
A sharing with that someone
The precious moment to take part

in . . . romance for the holidays . . . .

Hey there, Irene! Thank you for thinking of me during this holiday season. I hope you had a wonderful, blessed Christmas and received at least some of the things you wished for. I wish you health, peace and prosperity in 2018 and beyond. You deserve that and more. Happy New Year, my friend. And Happy Pamper-Her-Friday! -Rg2
