Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2® 132: ‘A Romance in Autumn’ Creatives by Rg2 (2)

Fallen Leaves, Calif.–8:16 p.m., Pamper-Her-Friday:

“Pamper Her Autumn”

Was it bliss that I detected when I proposed
a Romance in Autumn?
You blew kisses to the wind and by providence
I caught ’em

There’s a chill to the air
yet my hand is so warm,
Press it upon your face, there,
it’s far from the norm

The leaves have turned their coats
to attract our attention,
“Don’t ignore me, you urbanites,”
they unsubtly mention

Can you stay with me the weekend
to share in Autumn’s introduction?
I’m preparing a signature heartmeal
and if you’ll follow my instruction:

Sit, unwind . . . I have merlot
. . . please relax,
There’s a little something on the table
courtesy of Goldman Sachs

No, no, I won’t say, you’ll have to
bide to the moment,
For there’s an art to the ambiance that
I’ve begun to foment

This is your night by candlelight
Chivalry is resurrected,
The power of my romance must
certainly be respected

And a woman’s quiet yearnings
must never go neglected,
Go ahead, open the box, I think
you’ll love what I selected

Why the gift? Your modesty asks
with serenity in your eyes,
An expression of my emotion under
cover of Autumn’s guise

Misty becomes your gaze as
the flames flaunt their flicker,
A Romantic in your midst
and a sensual candle wicker

Who understands the measure
of the depths of pampering’s meaning,
My damaged soul now replenished
No longer needing of redeeming

I wanna live, I wanna love, I wanna
romance you in Autumn,
Your kisses to the wind?
By providence, I caught ’em

I’m not letting go, woman.

Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2® 131: ‘A Summer’s Romance’ Collection by Rg2 (40) The Summer 2012 Finale

“Sayonara, Sweet Summer”

Sweet Pamper-Her-Friday wishes to you, My Love,

According to meteorologists,
Summer officially ended moments ago
The weather gods beg to differ, however,
and there’s something I’d like to know:
Would you prefer a tropic landscape
or a lovely scenic waterview?
We won’t call this a romance finale
for there’s much more lovin’ to do
While you’re at work enhancing revenue
and I’m strategizing on market share
Our collective minds are elsewhere
My emotions I’m about to lay bare
June had me eating out of your hand
July saw you wrapped around my finger
August had the audacity to bring us closer
and it shamelessly wanted to linger
The pool-then-shower-at-sunrise mornings
followed by cocoa butter rubs
Fresh fruit picking and holistic skin licking
and pamper-fondling in the sauna tub
Between my nasty and your naughty
some violations may’ve been committed
If only you hadn’t begged for “just a little more”
I might’ve easily been acquitted
Of charges of being an artful summer lover
a clever summoner of your tinglepoints
A petter and stroker, a caresser and holder
The man you felt compelled to anoint
Soother-in-Chief of your summer’s romance
and Oh Great Keeper of the Thighs
Hmm, remember the melted berry cream
and the sweet surrender in your eyes?
The lazy nights and water-balloon fights
and pillow wrestling on aquabed
Table tennis and biking on Venice
Riding double-saddle on motorped
Canoeing on Lake Pandora, you were
awed by ducklings in the distance
Nature reminding us of the preciousness of life
That love is stronger than pride’s resistance
I admit, I was leery–to be true, ashamed
to show you my little house
An unsightly, lonesome fixer-upper
with just enough potential to espouse
You didn’t criticize nor pass a judgment
but saw something special in the buyer
I shed a few silent tears for your grace
Woman, you took me a little higher
Now I know why Barack loves Michelle
and Minister Malcolm so loved Betty
And why Reagan loved his Nancy
For true caring was at their ready
Along our way, something happened
Enchantment came into your heart
I certainly can’t take any credit
I’m not even clear I’ve played a part
But when I peer into your eyes
I see a man who’s found a home
Summer is suppose to be fleeting, right?
But these feelings refuse to roam
I need you, woman. I need you.
There, by God, I said it
My love is stronger than a summer’s romance
It’s truly yours if you will let it
We’ll say goodbye to a season gone by
But I’ve no sayonara for you
As leaves commence their fall at the moment of Autumn’s call
Our romance shall begin anew.

“Dinner on the Cliffs”

Happy Pamper-Her-Friday, Love,

I reserved a table dressed in mocha
befitting summer’s waning days,
With a seaside sunset promised for two
whose vista will amaze,
The cuisine has vowed to delight your palate
but more important is the conversation,
I’ll pour a lush red and for you a crisp white
of full-bodied maturation,
You didn’t think I was attentive to your spoken likes?
It behooves a man his woman to study,
You like your seafood broiled, baked potato unfoiled
And champagne with a hint of almond nutty,
I understand your work is going so-so
as morale unfortunately is low,
Go ahead, I’ll listen, get it off your mind
We’ll take the evening soothingly slow,
You see, pampering is more than petting or gift-giving
There’s also the art of listening,
An interpersonal exchange of time and empathy
A deeper level of intimacy christening,
“But enough about work . . . let’s talk about us,”
you say from across the splendid table,
Our summer’s romance still mirrored by your eyes
You’re the wearer of my exclusive label,
As you take a moment to exhale the week
your chin is rested in your palm,
The air has cooled, we’re one another’s fool
The revelation inspires a calm,
An inner peace from summer days we’ve shared
and many a fabled night,
From the beaches to the mountains and the moonlight drives
Creative lovemaking at its height,
As I freshen your glass, the flutist approaches
with a Kenny G-like serenade,
The beautiful surprise reflected in your eyes
Absolutely no masquerade,
Our dinner was lovely, your company even better
But, come, let’s go meet the shore,
We’ll sandwrite in script what we mean to each other
And our romance will request an encore,
We’re staying the weekend in a cliff-hugging hideaway
where the pampering will begin its second act,
A range of ideas I’ve hatched all week
And my performance will be erotically exact.

Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2® 129: Her Vote

Charlotte–12:01 a.m., Pamper-Her-Friday:

“Ever think of me, woman?”

She bristles, pauses, hesitates, palpitates, and becomes goosebump-laden at the audacity of his question, the audacity of his hope, then releases the most flutter-hearted
response she’s ever given in her lifetime:

“With every single breath I’m blessed to take.” And squeezes him as if he’s beating with her very heart.

“Does that mean I have your vote?”

She tears up, finding no words to reflect the moment.

The woman’s in love.

Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2® 128: ‘A Summer’s Romance’ Collection by Rg2 (37)

  “Summer’s Moonset”

It’s finally Pamper-Her-Friday, Love
I’ll let you talk, vent, confess, even drivel

Let the workweek go while I lather-bathe you
As I promise to keep this night civil

No raucousness, grievances, or complaints here
Certainly no urge for infighting
You’ve had enough of that outside our home
Tonight you deserve summer’s inviting

Nature murmurs, wind-whispers, feathery waves
reflecting the moon’s iridescent glow
Luxuriate in my Asia-inspired getaway
And lose yourself in my flow

Are your shoulders tight? Your mind unsettled?
Have you suffered any disappointments?
If you’ve wounds both open and unseen
I swear I’ve got just the ointment

You see, I understand what you’re up against
This unspoken war with competition
Paying the mortgage, raising kids, and chasing dreams
Trying not to succumb to attrition

For every Michelle there’re three Ann Romneys
And for every Beyonce, four Taylor Swifts
Don’t leg go of your aspirations, please
But keep in perspective your own special gifts

Summertime’s on the verge of saying farewell
Neither of us is ready for closure
I’m about to pamper you as if it may never return
And you’re at liberty to lose your composure

Panties astray, though lingerie can stay
but their appearance will certainly be brief
Leave the superwoman stance outside the door
You’re the tribeswoman and I’m the chief

Come here, I want you at waterbed’s edge
your feet skywardly posed
I’m redefining the essence of Pamper-Her-Friday
as summer comes to its close.
