Pamper-Her-Friday by Rg2™ 113: ‘A Summer’s Romance’ Collection by Rg2 (5)

19 May

“Donna’s Romance”

Never first to arrive nor last to leave is the rule
But if your dance is my final, I will gladly play the fool,
To break from tradition, this summer’s my aberration
My intentions will be clear, no losses in translation

Dawn will find you in my arms, dusk will surely want the same
Write this down, pretty woman: Love is calling your name,
Your answer need not be spoken, I’ll see it in your eyes
Foreplay sessions at sunset and following nights we’ll reprise,

We lost Donna yesterday, bequeathed her angel legacy
The disco ball has begun its spin, so what shall it be?
Thinking back to the future or dreaming forward to the past
A higher romance is in the offing, I intend to make it last

Feel the rhythm in my embrace, trace the contours of my arms
Now imagine the floor is ours, serenaded by Donna’s charms,
We’ll pantomime by moonglow, summerlong will be our chance
I’m saving all my love, the last dance for your romance.
