Some of the most exciting moments of a woman’s life?
When she’s readying herself for a date,
Your girlfriend says you shouldn’t be so giddy?
Tell her to find her own . . . and keep the hate
If I have my way tonight, woman, you will be envied
So, prepare yourself for the eye onslaught,
Men will dare a peek as women chance a seek
At the stunning dress and the shoes I bought
By no means am I advertising you, Love
In no way are you a trophy on display,
Ballers and cold-callers may need the validation
But my public affirmation is on permanent delay
For I didn’t ask you out for superficial reasons
Though you handily passed the first-take test,
Mmmm, you are hands-down a mirror’s delight
I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect dinner guest
Our Pamper-Her-Friday agenda, you ask?
Well, let’s just say everything’s been handled,
But for starters, my driver has his orders for 7
Delivering the Cinderella slippers and scented candle
I ask that you light it momentarily before leaving
Then douse, as the fragrance will linger,
The perfume your beloved father would gift you . . .
I remembered the scent, is it a dead-ringer?
Yes, I had the organics chemist concoct it
Created to exact specification–in your honor,
Now, try on the shoes, Oh! it’s gotta be the shoes
I covered it all, angel, I left nothing to ponder
The driver will escort you to the tarmac
On the crest of the just-debuted Rg2 Tower,
The luxo-copter will whisk us into the sunset
The symphony begins at the top of the hour
And we’ll take to the nostalgic ferris wheel
at the venerable Los Angeles County Fair,
I saw the wonderment in your eyes at mention
About that still-innocent girl in you I care
Because the most exciting moments of a woman’s life
are those that simply take her breath away,
Tonight feels like one of those storied nights
Why, of course, it’s Pamper-Her-Friday.
