Perhaps the sweetest stroke in the game,
“The Baby-faced Assassin” is his moniker
No other’s worthy of the legendary name
When he felled “The King” and his courtiers
The Finals showcased his warriors’ prevail,
The soft-spoken golden boy from the golden state
Arrived on the grandest stage to tell
The countless sweat hours in a lonely man’s gym
Can test the will, not to mention fatigue,
But a thin, wiry kid with a shot so pure
Can prove he belongs in a big man’s league
Under Armour took notice and liked what it saw
While the mighty Nike corners market share,
Steph chose a player’s court with fewer sneaker marks
A shrewd business move with lots of fruit to bear
A new, seven-year deal for the son of Dell
With added bonus: A brand equity stake,
When sales go up, so too will his stock
The ankle-breaker shows a corporate head fake
A company more known for its athletic apparel
Has aimed its gauntlet toward basketball shoes,
