“Shoes a Crowd”
It’s Pamper-Her-Friday at last, my Sweet
Let me help you with your slippers,
As I kneel before your seated posture
Have a taste of the strawberry dippers
Warmed by a single candle flame
I didn’t bother with the fondue,
Let me feed you lush bites one at a time
These moments have been too few
The table is set, the china’s arranged
I removed the middle plank,
Intimate I crave your talk tonight
We have your shoes to thank
This love affair, a woman and her shoes
I pondered where it all began,
More aesthetic than comfort the higher the heel
Now relax, no need to stand
As I cradle each foot like a podiatrist smitten
To soothe away gravity’s effect,
Exhale the weeklong’s mental debris
I’m your therapy should you elect
To let it all go your body’s overflow
Your pressure points are so tender,
From the tip of toe the achilles will know
Tonight is their sweet surrender
The ache and pain shall cease to remain
My mandate is your total relief,
We’ve got all night, to the morning we might
I promise it won’t be brief
This Friday therapy one foot at a time
The shoes were a lovely sight,
But their purpose is done, I’m ready for fun
I’m pampering you, woman, tonight.
